Meet Our Team

Danèl Nortje-Nel

Founder & Managing Director
  • LL.B – University of Pretoria (2002)
  • Admitted as an Attorney (2003), Conveyancer (2004) and Notary Public (2005)

Danèl brings a wealth of experience in Conveyancing, Notarial Work, Deceased Estate Administration, Estate Planning, and Will drafting. With more than 23 years in practice and leading her own firm since 2004, she is known for her thorough yet kind approach, ensuring every client feels looked after and every matter is handled with care.

Maritza Markram

Director - Conveyancing
  • LL.B – Stellenbosch University (2011)
  • Admitted as an Attorney (2013) and as a Conveyancer (2016)

Served as Candidate Attorney under Danèl Nortje-Nel (2012-2013), after which she was appointed a Junior Associate. Martiza was added to the board of Directors in 2021. She specialises in Conveyancing.

Edith de Beer

  • LL.B – North West University (2023)

Edith, our Candidate Attorney, joined the team in 2025 and is currently completing her articles under Danèl Nortje-Nel.

Anneke van der Merwe

Senior Conveyancing Secretary (Bonds) & PA to Danèl Nortje-Nel

Anneke joined Danèl as Secretary in 2007 and has since been Danèl’s right hand. She has 18 years of experience in bond registrations and general administration of the firm.

Carien Lewis

Senior Conveyancing Secretary (Transfers) & Office Manager

Carien joined the firm as a receptionist in 2017 and became a senior conveyancing secretary. She is the vibrant voice and friendly face welcoming you to our firm.
